The Athens Workshop in International Economics (AWInE) is an annual event hosted by the Department of International and European Economic Studies, The workshop brings together researchers working on diverse topics in international economics, fostering dialogue and collaboration among senior and junior academics.

Following the success of the inaugural 2025 workshop, the second AWInE will take place on April 03, 2026 in Athens. The series will continue each spring in the coming years, providing a regular forum for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of new research in international economics.
