The 1st Athens Workshop in International Economics was held on 11 April 2025 at the Athens University of Economics and Business. The workshop brought together researchers from leading European institutions to present and discuss recent work on international economics.

The program featured six research presentations covering topics such as border carbon adjustments, education and credit constraints, taxation and philanthropy, firm dynamics, consumer finance, and digital currencies. The event fostered stimulating academic exchange and provided a platform for networking and collaboration among participants.
